‘In the Crosshairs’ gets nod at Indonesia event

Iranian animation ‘In the Crosshairs’ has received an honorable mention at an animation festival in Indonesia.

Iranian director Marzieh Kheirkhah’s animated short received an honorable mention at the Craft International Animation Festival in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

‘In the Crosshairs’ is about a soldier who finds a bird nest with an egg in his tank gun.

Produced by Sooreh Art University in Tehran, the 5-minute animation has already won several awards.

Marzieh Kheirkhah received the best director award for her animation from the 2nd Kargil International Film Festival, India, in August.

The Craft International Animation Festival in Yogyakarta was held October 24-28.
